Mandy & Kerry - maternity

One of my favorite parts about taking pictures is that I get to meet so many new people and hear their stories. I love to get to know couples and children. I love to take pictures of babies throughout their whole first year, admiring how they have changed.

It's amazing how I have taken so many photos of people who I never knew existed a year ago. Mandy and Kerry are two people who I have come to know through Zumba! Through my Zumba class I have attended for nearly two years, I have met the most awesome women! We have really developed quite a relationship, and it has been so fun because we have experienced/are experiencing four Zumba pregnancies!

Mandy and Kerry are due any day now with their first daughter, Carter! What a great name, right? Mandy wanted to take outdoor pictures at the IMA, and I have to admit I was a little skeptical. It is January, afterall! However, they turned out beautifully, and I am really proud of them! You can't tell how cold they were by the pictures, and they were such great sports!

I can't wait for Carter to come! Maybe I will be lucky enough to photograph her. :-)
